Os Bell X1 são uma banda irlandesa, formada em 1990 e constituída actualmente por Paul Noonan, David Geraghty, Dominic Philips e Tim O’Donovan. Chegaram a contar na sua formação inicial, que se chamava Juniper, com Damien Rice, que entretanto enveredou por uma bem sucedida carreira a solo.

Têm até agora quatro álbuns lançados, sendo uma banda muito querida no seu país natal e agora também nos EUA, devido ao sucesso que esta canção, Eve, The Apple Of My Eye, reitrada do álbum Music In Mouth (2003) tem tido nesse país, ao ser usada em programas famosos, como a Anatomia de Grey.

O nome da banda foi inspirado no avião Bell X1, o primeiro a superar a velocidade do som, construido pela Bell Aircraft Corporation, para a USAF (Força Aérea dos Estados Unidos), em 1947.
